Headhunt agents overview
A headhunt agent finds candidates for a role for you. You describe the role, the agent turns it into search criteria, searches public professional profiles across the web, and adds the people who match to the agent criteria as candidates.
- Reach passive candidates who have not applied to your jobs.
- Create one agent per role you are hiring for.
- With auto-shortlisting on, AI reviews every profile against your criteria and moves the best matches to the AI shortlist for you.
- Engage the candidates you like with an email outreach sequence from the same agent.
AI Headhunting is available on below plans:

Who can create headhunt agents?
- Users with access to Whitecarrot AI see Headhunting agents in the left navigation.
- Your plan sets how many agents your company can create. When the limit is reached, Add agent shows a lock and explains the limit. Archive or delete an agent you no longer need, or contact us to raise the limit.
- Sourcing uses Whitecarrot AI credits. The credits each agent has used are shown at the top of the agent page.
Create an agent
