Indeed overview

Whitecarrot posts your published jobs to Indeed as free organic postings. Once your Indeed source is connected and verified, your jobs appear in Indeed search results and on your Indeed company page, and candidates can apply either directly on Indeed (Indeed Apply) or on your Whitecarrot career page.

💡 Indeed organic postings are free. Applications flow back into the ATS automatically with the source marked as Indeed.

Connect your Indeed account

1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations and open Indeed.
2. Click Connect Indeed and paste your Indeed company page URL (for example https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Your-Company).
3. If you run multiple brands, connect one Indeed company page per brand and choose which brands the page covers.
4. Submit the request. Whitecarrot derives your Indeed source name from the page and sends it for verification. Our team coordinates with Indeed to verify and link the source — this usually takes a few business days. Once it is approved, the person who submitted the request gets an email with the next steps.

ℹ️ How to find your Indeed company page URL: Go to indeed.com, search your company name, open your company page, and copy the URL from the browser. It looks like https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Your-Company. Paste it exactly — Whitecarrot uses it to derive and match your source name.

ℹ️ Add locations with City, State, and Country so jobs appear correctly in Indeed and Google search results.

After your request is approved

You get an email titled "Your Indeed integration request is approved – start posting jobs". It goes to the person who submitted the request and includes your Indeed company page link and the next steps:

1. Post all my jobs: in your Indeed integration settings, under How do you want to publish jobs on Indeed?, choose Post all my external jobs (excluding confidential ones) by default. Every job you publish on your careers page is then posted on Indeed automatically.
2. Authorize your Indeed account: click Authorize Indeed to manage jobs to see each job's live Indeed status in the job's Share and Post tab.

Use the Check your Indeed integration button in the email to open your Indeed settings.

ℹ️ Posting Indeed jobs through a job board contract? The email asks you to create your Indeed contract instead: go to Settings > Integrations, find Indeed under Job board contracts and click Create contract. Your verified Indeed source name is filled in for you and can't be edited. To change it, contact [email protected]. Once the contract is created, publish jobs to Indeed from the job's Share and Post tab.

⚠️ If you get this email but did not request the integration, reply to it or contact [email protected] right away.
