You can request documents from candidates at any stage of the hiring process using the “Ask to upload file” candidate tasks feature.

If you want to collect documents after the offer is signed,
- Add a new stage after the Offer stage and name it Document Collection or Background Verification and follow the below steps.

Step 1: Add the file upload module to a stage
- Go to Settings and click on Stage Pipeline Templates.
- You can:
- Click Add New Pipeline to create a new pipeline,
- Click the pencil icon to edit an existing pipeline, or
- Click the copy icon to clone an existing pipeline and make changes to it.

- If the Documentation stage is not already available in the pipeline, click Add Stage.

- Enter the stage name as Documentation Collection.

- Inside the Documentation Collection stage, click Add Task. Then select Ask to Upload File.

List all the required files such as passport copy, visa or entry permit, photo, attested degree certificate, or Emirates ID.

Step 2: Move candidates into the stage
- When a candidate reaches this stage, the system automatically sends an email asking them to upload the required documents.
- Candidates complete the task from their portal and upload each file as requested.
Step 3: Review the uploaded documents
- Recruiters can open the candidate profile to review all uploaded files.
