Overview
What is the default pipeline?
Your default pipeline is your standard recruitment process and is used by the platform as a template whenever a new job is created in your company.

You can configure it within 2 simple steps:
Step 1: Access the default pipeline settings
- Go to Default stage pipeline page in settings
- When you get access to the account, the system creates 6 stages in your pipeline
- Sourced
- Application
- One Way Interview
- Interview
- Offer
- Hired

ℹ️ Note:
For all jobs, there are two initial stages for candidates - Sourced and Application, which are fixed and cannot be changed.
- The Sourced Stage is for candidates who are referred by employees or come from agencies.
- The Application Stage is for those applying through job boards or the company's career page.
Candidates have these two entry points because:
- Candidates from job boards or career pages enter the Application stage, where it's advised to have pre-screening questions.
- The Sourced stage is for referred or outbound candidates, who may not require pre-screening and might need more direct interaction at the start.
- In case of sourced candidates, depending on a candidate's quality, they can be moved to an appropriate stage in the selection process, potentially bypassing the Application stage's pre-screening.

📣 Note: If you have a job that does not follow the default pipeline you are creating, these stages can be updated while adding or editing that job.
