Overview
Stage pipeline templates determine the stages your candidates will pass through in the hiring process. Stage pipeline templates are created in settings and assigned to jobs when creating them. All jobs require a Stage pipeline. Super admins and recruiters can create and manage the Stage pipeline templates. Stages are grouped in stage types
Creating Stage pipeline templates
- Navigate to: Settings > Stage pipeline Templates
- Click on: "Add New Stage pipeline Template"
- Each template includes fixed Stage types Sourced, Shortlisting, Evaluation, Offer, Document collection and Hired
- Sourced, Application, and Hired stages by default cannot be edited, deleted, or re-ordered.
- Add stages in the respective stage type as per your hiring needs.

ℹ️
Note:
-
We recommend updating the default Stage pipeline template based on your hiring needs and using it for all jobs.
-
If you need different Stage pipelines, we recommend creating templates based on departments.
For example:
- Engineering Stage pipeline → Use it for all engineering jobs.
- Sales Stage pipeline → Use it for all sales jobs.

Link Stage pipeline templates to jobs
When creating a new job, you can select a Stage pipeline template in the Automations (3rd) step.
- By default, every job is linked to the Default Stage pipeline template.

How to the change Stage pipeline template of a job?
- Click the Stage pipeline template drop-down and choose the desired template.
- Map the stages from the current Stage pipeline to the selected Stage pipeline template:
- Locked stages (Sourced, Application, and Hired) are automatically mapped.
- Other stages must be mapped manually.
- Stages containing candidates or any automations must be mapped before proceeding.

💡
What does mapping do?
If a stage contains candidates or tasks, mapping moves them to the selected stage without losing any data.
