Start a headhunt agent from the Whitecarrot AI chat
- Ask, for example, Find candidates for a Senior React Developer in Dubai, or pick the Find candidates for my role suggestion.
- Whitecarrot AI shows a Search brief card filled in from what you said: role, alternative titles, locations, industry, target companies, education, languages, must-have and nice-to-have criteria, seniority, years of experience and titles to exclude. Edit anything, then click Start sourcing.
- Whitecarrot AI creates the agent and shows its Agent plan. You can download the plan.
- Confirm the plan in the chat. Sourcing starts and a progress card shows how it is going.
- You can leave the chat at any time — the agent keeps working. Find it under Headhunting agents.

What happens after the headhunt agent starts
- By default the agent sources up to 100 profiles and aims for a shortlist of 20 candidates.
- With auto-shortlisting on, a candidate is shortlisted when they meet 90% of the must-have criteria and 70% of the nice-to-have criteria. You can change this later on the agent’s AI Shortlisting Criteria tab.
- Review the candidates, change the criteria, find more and launch email outreach from the agent page.
